Priscilla's Statement - Believe the Woman

Here they go again. My Democratic opponent Mike Levin seems to have swapped his environmental booklet for Darrell Issa’s 2016 election playbook. He’s bringing out the same tired old attack that Issa used in 2016 to try to derail my campaign.  Levin started with a whisper campaign against me, and now he is out of the shadows with it, sending out attack mailers.

In this time of “Me Too”, they say believe the woman. Well, here is what the woman in this story, my ex-wife, Priscilla Greco, has to say. Believe the woman.

Statement From Priscilla Greco formerly Priscilla Applegate in Support of Col. Doug Applegate

February 25, 2018 - After unsubstantiated accusations against Col. Doug Applegate, ex-wife Priscilla Greco has come out with this statement:

"I'm disappointed that uninformed people are yet again making disrespectful and personal attacks against our family. We went through a difficult divorce as many people have, but to take things out of context and make Doug out to be an abuser is absurd. Doug and I are parents first, and we raised two amazing children together. I support his run for Congress and I will be voting for him in June and November 2018." - Priscilla Greco, formerly Priscilla Applegate.

Statements From Priscilla Greco and Col. Doug Applegate Regarding Desperate Attacks From Darrell Issa from 2016

Priscilla Greco: “I’m disappointed that someone is making disrespectful and uninformed personal attacks against our family. Doug and I are parents first, and we raised two amazing children together. I support his run for Congress and I will be voting for him in November.”

Colonel Doug Applegate: “This is a desperate and politically motivated attack from Congressman Darrell Issa on my family.  I love my family and couldn’t be more proud of the children I’ve raised with Priscilla. This kind of dirty personal attack is exactly what’s wrong with politics and voters deserve better. As someone who has worked with victims of domestic violence, I’m appalled that Congressman Issa would sink so low but unfortunately I’m not surprised.”
