"The RBV Public Policy Club is hosting a candidate forum on Monday, April 9th, in the Quad.
Candidates from several June ballots will present, including sheriff, district attorney, county judge, school board, city council, mayor, county supervisor, state legislature, and Congress.
The event will begin in the Quad with a "meet and greet" session from 5-6 PM. here will then be six, 10-minute sessions to rotate through the 800 wing classrooms. (Three minutes for the candidates' prepared statements and seven minutes of Q&A.) The night will end with 30 minutes back in the quad for the attendance to track down any candidate(s) they missed during the sessions.
This event is student-planned and will be student-run (with club adviser supervision)."
